TOMSK, Sep 7 (PRIME) -- Russian radio electronics producer Micran sees no problems in it addition to the U.S.’ sanction list, Director Vladimir Dotsenko said Wednesday.
“I don’t expect any serious difficulties. Restrictive measures have been in force for a long time. We live in these conditions. On the other hand, we supply products mainly to the internal market, not to the external one. Americans protect their economic interests. They’re on the defensive when a company becomes important. It’s a kind of acclaim,” Dotsenko said.
The U.S. Department of Commerce expanded on Tuesday its sanction list with 11 Russian companies, including Micran. Now the blacklist counts 81 companies from Russia, India and Hong Kong.
Micran is involved in microwave electronics, communications, radio location, test and measurement equipment and information security. Its annual turnover exceeds 2 billion rubles. It opened a plant in 2015 to manufacture products to replace radio electronic imports.
